ABOUT ME
I'm grateful to all those mentors and trainers (and clients) from who I have learned formally and informally, and continue to do so every day.
PENNY TERNDRUP
After studying music and languages, I trained and qualified as a solicitor in the City and worked for several years as a corporate lawyer. Moving to recruitment, I worked with partners and teams moving between law firms, later joining a global firm as a partner, adding in-house legal teams to my practice. In 2009 I set off on my own, continuing to work with some wonderful search clients, while spending more and more time coaching
While search was a natural early home, personal development work building on my previous psychotherapeutic training in psychosynthesis (an integrative and transpersonal psychology) was like coming home. Training with Meyler Campbell, a leading executive coaching and leadership development organisation (with Anne Scoular), I qualified as a business coach and have been coaching formally for nearly 15 years. I'm now an advisor with them.
Becoming a trustee a number of years after I studied there, I am currently chair of the board of trustees of the Psychosynthesis Trust, an educational charity which trains counsellors and psychotherapists (BACP/UKCP) informed by psychosynthesis, a transpersonal psychology.
I'm based in London and Gloucestershire with two teenage daughters (to one of whom I'm grateful for the artwork here), two dogs, two cats and an awful lot of books!
